My name is Myrna. I came from a broken family. My mother abandoned my father and their 6 children soon after I was born. My father loves me, but he had no job and was not able to provide for our basic needs. I lived in the city cemetery with my father until I was three years old. At that time I was mistreated by others in the cemetery, so the Department of Social Wefare and Development (DSWD) decided that I needed to be with Face the Children. I have always struggled with my speech and general learning, but in the last 2 years I have worked to improve it. I thank God for FTC and the protection and opportunity they have given to me here.
